Our Story
Florentino (Tino) Cabrera was a carpet sales person for Sutton Carpets for several years in the late 1970s. He bought a building (325 South A Street Oxnard), CA in the early 1980's and opened up his carpet store (CarpetTino). Twenty years later he purchased the building at the current location (1651 South Rose Ave, Oxnard, CA), allowing him to quadruple his space to carry for inventor. His brothers Miguel, and Manuel joined him.

Tino Cabrera leads a dance troupe. During October and November, the warehouse area is used for dance rehearsals. Tino has been sponsoring a dance group who perform tradition dance step from his native community Zacatecas, Mexico. Some of the dancers have been dancing since they we===re 5. They dance in traditional clothing. While the intent is to celebrate the Festival of Our Lady of Guadalupe (12 days of dancing in a two parade route ending at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Oxnard, they also perform though out the year at different venues
Miguel Cabrera was a carpet installer for his brother in the early 1980's through the 1990's When the store move to itsd current location, Miguel became the lead sales person and oversees the estimations.
Manuel Cabrera joined his brother as the Office Manager after his career as an electrical engineer after Tino moved to his current location. Miguel coordinates the logistics of the material deliveries to the store and the scheduling of flooring installations.
